MERIDIONAL Newsletter – halfway update

MERIDIONAL is halfway and has had successful results so far.

In the first 25 months, the project partners made great efforts to improve the performance, operation and design of onshore, offshore, and airborne wind power plants.

Although MERIDIONAL is only halfway through, important results have already been achieved.

The studies, conducted by some of Europe’s most advanced technical universities, have already resulted in the publication of 22 scientific papers. These have been presented at major international industry conferences, such as AWEC, TORQUE and NAWEA.

Industrial partners are leading the way, too, testing state-of-the-art technologies in real environments, with the perspective of making them replicable and scalable.

In the meantime, MERIDIONAL is also engaging in knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer, creating synergies with the sister projects AIRE and FLOW to develop a collaborative Knowledge and Data Hub.
