MERIDIONAL at Wind Europe Technology Workshop

Past Event

Through effective communication and its engagement in the political decision-making processes, WindEurope seeks to facilitate national and international policies and initiatives which strengthen the development of European and global wind energy markets, infrastructure and technology. In doing so, Wind Europe contributes in achieving a more sustainable and cleaner energy future.

The sessions programmed on June 1 and 2, 2023, will introduce and discuss advancements at the forefront of understanding, measuring and modelling flow, relevant at scales ranging from turbine blade to wind farm cluster. In an interactive session, we will discuss how various projects can best find shared areas of development and shared methods of dissemination in order to create larger impact in the sector.

Within the speakers, our colleague and coordinator of MERIDIONAL, Simon Watson of Technische Universiteit Delft, will present the project, its expected outcomes and how the optimization of the infrastructure of wind plants can significantly contribute to the energy transition.

Join us in this event and let in the wind of change!
