MERIDIONAL goes to Florence for TORQUE 2024

From 29 to 31 May 2024, MERIDIONAL will be present at TORQUE 2024 conference organised by the European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE).
From 29 to 31 May 2024, MERIDIONAL will be present at TORQUE 2024 in Florence.
The TORQUE conference is a key event in the field of wind energy, organised by the European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE). It represents a unique occasion for academics, industry operators, and students to share knowlwedge and network.
Also this year, the TORQUE program includes technical sessions, with workshops and panels, as well as many social and side events.
MERIDIONAL will take part in the conference too. In particular, the project’s partners will actively participate:
- In a chair a session on ‘Siting and Mesoscale’ modelling
- In an EWEA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee panel discussion
TORQUE will also be the stage to present various papers written by MERIDIONAL’s partners.
One of them, “Towards a general tool chain integration platform for multi-disciplinary analysis and optimization in wind energy” – written by Dr. Ju Feng and Jens Nørkær Sørensen from the Department of Wind and Energy Systems of the Technical University of Denmark – will be presented during two poster sessions at 15:10 – 16:20 on 29 and 30 May.
