MERIDIONAL at HUSUM Wind – Transforming Energy 2023 fair

From September 12th to 15th, SkySails and Enerkite booths, members of Airborne Wind Europe (MERIDIONAL’S partner), represented the Airborne Wind Energy sector at the HUSUM Wind – Transforming Energy 2023 fair.

Representatives of the two booths, alongside AWE  participated in a panel discussion on the opportunities of high-altitude wind energy.

The panel discussion pointed out AWE potential for Germany and the need for supporting regarding research, regulation, and scaling up as industry in order to make deployment happen on thousands of extra potential sites (only in Germany) for renewable energy.
